With luck the CB v3.1 will be released for general play within the next week/10 days and then a new game will start.

Game pages can be found here and will be ready for action within the next week.

This will be the next Campaign to start when Dougie makes his Army selection, then check out the wiki pages for instructions to get under way......I hope these Prussians can shoot better then those Spanish, oh, hold on, I know they will, their rifles are being manufactured as we speak, and they have an endless supply of bullets......I wonder who they will be fired at ?.

Yes mate Austria it is :)
I'm sure your spies have already reported troops massing, and much movement of your enemy's forces.
Is Prussia prepared for war :?: :?:

Awesome battle great great fun,
I expected this to be one hell of a slog and it was, looked liked Guns Guard Jaeger had won it for him until my cav took care of them and brought me back into the fight, i had a strong position here but Gunner excels on the attack.
Felt i could still win this, but to be honest it looked like Gunner had the edge.
Over to you M :D

Dougie, I'm surprised by the stats, from them alone it does look like I have it won, you had more men, killed less and lost most....but I'm more than happy to call these battles a "no result" and do the battle loses and leave it at that.

If Moopere would like to "award" a victory (either way) then all well and good, but in case we start to get more of these problems I would suggest that when it's as close as this it may be as well to say that NEITHER side won.

Take off the battle loses, the attacker return to where they started, and continue from there, this would be a fair way to deal with these type of situation.

Absolutely agree with that Gun the stats look very good for you and suggest a victory, its amazing how different things can feel in the heat of battle, perhaps i am letting that feel i had cloud my judgement
I am more than happy to let a third party in this case M, award a victory how ever they see fit, perhaps we need to get the views off all of us regarding how we will do this in the future.

Ugg. What a nightmare - took me about 15 minutes to work out how to get this file from Badongo only to discover that it won't download with firefox anyway (arrhhggg). Anyway, got it now (with IE7), I'll report back in a hour or so.

Regards, M.
