So far we have been able to fight all 4 battles without any outside help but if anyone wants to join in they may do, please let us know.

A word of warning, these battles can be (and are sometimes) very UNbalnced, we have had 6.1 v 12k and 9.1 v 12k so far....it all depends on the wiki map situation.

I would suggest that you post the battles needing resolution and mark them off as they get done...a sort of rolling list if you like.

In this way interested players could come here first, see a battle to be played out then nip off to the lobby to get it done.

Yes, this was the theory and that is what was intended, BUT, myself and Grospaul have been getting them played so quickly there has not been time. We have arranged times to play the battles - mainly for the next morning after they crop up.

At the moment there are none outstanding.

There has also not been any firm commitment from anyone to help out with these battles, I know you are interested but unless times can be arranged then the battles will sit here waiting to be played - when GP and myself could already have played them.

I'm thinking we need some kind of system in place, I'll give it more thought.

Neither GP or myself will object to someone else playing out the battles, as it adds that little bit more "random" type battle outcome, but we don't want the game to get held up while we wait for others when we could have played them ourselves.

I will think about this a bit and report back.

So long as you are getting them played out theres no problem at all. So far seems like getting the battles fought has not been an impediment. The one on one campaigns are not meant to be group efforts so far as I understand them though others are welcomed should battles get delayed and need to be played out.

If you -do- get stuck though I'm sure there are several guys watching who would be interested. In the meantime keep posting the replays up on ntw2.wiki they are always interesting to watch.

Yes, if there is any hold up getting battles played then they will be posted here and offers for help will be welcome - after thinking this though that would appear to be the best way - unless another game is started with x players on each side, but I don't think the interest level is quite high enough to do that just yet. It may well be in the future.

I'm not sure what others think, but this is a very good testing ground for a possible LG based wiki game in the future....or even Empire, but I'm pretty sure once I get into LG that will take up are my playing time.

AnkLrd is also wanting to start a wiki game now, so maybe with g24, GP, Moopere, Dougie, Simpson and now AnkLrd, we might find it easier to get a 2v2 battle in - after we give the new players a chance to get used to CB/wiki battle.

I am open to play with AnkLrd.

I can not make the Sunday one.

If you can make either of these and turn them into 2v2 battles please post here and I will sort them out ready for the weekend.

This is a good idea. Perhaps all games that are due and have been agreed by the main players for 2-3 days into the future can be listed here? Probably not a lot of point if you agree and are playing it out within the next 12-24 hours as other folks probably won't have a chance to react.

A pity the Sunday game probably won't be a 2v2 after all.
