Hi ETW People,

Heres something I stumbled over today:

http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=285938

50 maps for ETW using Lordz tools apparently and including the Lordz official maps themselves as well.

Its unfortunate that the author has decided to put the opposing armies 600yards apart rather than 1000+ but regardless of this, more maps is better right?

I have not tried the pack myself yet but will download it later this evening. Anyone got comments?

Regards,
Moopere

Had a quick look at the posting Moo,

First thing that comes to mind as usual is, we need it to be compatible with Empire tactical warfare, well most of us do anyway, this would mean Mooncabbage having to do a loc file ??

Its not compatible with the latest Vanilla ETW, whats that all about ??
How can we take a look ??

The maps he has done himself look very baron as if he has had problems adding certain features ??

Still worth investigating

I saw this somewhile ago and did not see much point in it...from the limited pictures shown the maps are not of interest to me.

Perhaps. There is a .loc compatibility project here:

http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthre ... 541&page=9

which already includes the lordz maps and a heap of existing mods. Seems the modder will add the 50 maps mod in the next release. Just need the guy to add eTW and its all compatible...or...as you say, have MC add a .loc to eTW.

Yes, I saw that, yet surely its not true? I assumed that was a word fumble.

Ah, right. I didn't get a chance to look last night but if the maps are not that interesting its not worth pursuing. I thought that with 50 to choose from there must be some good stuff in there.
