I can't wait for NTW3. It should be the best mod for ETW. Do you guys have any suggestions for the Lordz to use in the mod. The only thing I really want is more historical battles and different units for every nation. |

My question is, how are the Lordz going to do it with their staff as is at the moment? You have, Badger, BDC, and Gunner are the only ones with any relative knowledge about serious modding. Unless the Lordz go on a wild recruiting spree, how are they going to make a full mod...period...let alone make it in 2 years or less.... |

The other problem is they can't fully complete it without a model converter to change the units. I just hope that CA releases a model converter. As for the recruitment problem. i will post a post on the TW center to see if I can find anyone to join. |

Its always a problem thats for sure. Mooncabbage of TWC NBG Mod fame has recently become a Lord though and is quite prodigious. In some ways a small but active crew can produce better work faster than a very large one. We'll have to wait and see I guess. I guess the amount of modelling and texturing work on a full conversion to say 1810-1812 is an absolutely massive task involving probably hundreds (if not thousands) of man hours to do a proper job of all the major countries + selected minors, perhaps the wider TWC community will come to the rescue? Regards, M. |

This is NOT a comment as a "Lord" but one from past experience it's well know the Lordz won't release anything other than the best they can possbily make, so I would expect ntw3 to be a long time, hopefully not as long as J has suggested, but not anytime soon. I see no prolem in us all using the mod Moon has made while we wait for ntw3. It is not ntw3 but it does offer brillent game play and great MP battles.....people who won't use it, for whatever reason, are not doing themselves any favours. ntw3 will be excepitional, no doubt at all, but as you say above, I'm sure some more people with proven top quality work, would help move things along faster. |

Yes, and I hope the entire Napoleonic community will agree that they would prefer a mod that is the best of quality and that may take up to 3-4 years (ok, I sure it's not going to take that long!) than a mod thats done in 6 months but is like ETW with the repeating units and boring AI. |

Quote: boring AI.
Boring AI will always be boring AI, if it could be any better they would make it better in the first place......as far as I know ntw3 will be for MP play.....the AI in SP will always be what it is. |

Yes, it will be "offically" launched very soon, it will be by invite ONLY to people who have, and are using, the Lordz maps. |
