Yet some adjustments about the Multi Players.

There were some issues about the different fog of war: fixed!
6 modes:
a) unconditional for friend and enemy,
b) unconditional for friend and real position of enemy if no hidden, marker[?] if hidden
c) conditional view : sequence is like that:
t1 : no icon(***) because the unit is hidden
t2 : unit is detected by a friendly unit(A) : NATO icon(B) with information (*)
t3: if the unit is hidden again, an greyed NATO icon(**) shows the last knowledge position
c1) immediate view : NATO icon(B) is immediately displayed
c2) delay view : NATO icon(B) is showed after a delay (distance from unit(A) to headquarters
For c1 et c2, the method is for two sides or only for enemy.

(*): there is an option to define the accuracy of information.
(**): a counter shows the time since the unit becomes hidden
(***): friendly units are always displayed : normal or greyed

Greyed icon : last position before hiding

And a lot of other short tasks.... No really asleep

Hey guys... a quick additional update to add to what JMM said:

Usually the times when you hear the least are because everybody is so damn' busy working on the game

Our plan at this point is to open pre-orders before the end of the month. At that point the big machinery begins to grind down a pretty well worked out routine of preparing production, downloads etc. It would be great if we could just throw a switch and have the game appear out of thin air on everyone's PC, but that's not how it works in the real world. Unless we hit a major snag, everyone should be playing the game in October.

So, just remember: the waiting is always hardest when it's almost over

Regrettably, after repeated delays, this project has been canceled.

Now the project wont be released by Battlefront.

HW:LH Manual will be consultable on November the 11th...
HW:LH Demo will be released before the end of this month...
HW:LG will be in pre-order on the first week of December...
HW:LG will be released before Christmas...

It is time to make a point in the future after this little twist which has slowed a little development during this last week

So to recap:

HistWar: The Grognards is now distributed by the company Play and Com, probably under the name HistWarGames to better identify ourselves.

It goes without saying, and it is better said that it will not affect the quality of the game This is not the publisher who produces, it is only for streaming.

Since we are talking about broadcast .. Initially, we will make available the game for downloading.
We will not be able to ensure early delivery of a box with CD and Manual ... Indeed, by the end we have to adjust the site (and here again I think this will be a surprise) and modify the program to establish a serial number associated with each Grognard (and not DRM) ...

However, very soon we will have the means to spread the box game in Europe or outside Europe (but there is a problem of cost of transport that will take over the buyer ...). The manual is available in 2 reference languages (English and French)

Furthermore, we will take steps to contact local distributors to reduce prices of transport .. but this may take a little longer.

To sum up the schedule by the end of the year:

This forum will receive the 4 specific fora (English-French-Spanish-Italian) and a technical forum.
We will also, as soon as possible, establish a forum to facilitate exchanges for the MP game or PBEM.

If the trial reaches its goal, it will attract those who have few attractions for this new gameplay.
And I have no doubt that then, together, we can raise awareness of the Grognards ...
