* Improved campaign map performance
* Republics will no longer dispute a claim to a throne via a war of succession
* Fixed a crash when pathfinding for embarking/disembarking
* Fixed situation where balance-of-power bar on battle screen was not considering the correct set of reinforcements
* Made the decision of which third-party factions can be involved in a campaign battle slightly fairer

One of the things not mentioned in the list above is that CA have fixed a bug in the 1.4 release that allowed you to circumvent the MP unit limit by double clicking on the unit in question. I checked this morning and the unit limit now seems to be enforced - so, from now on in MP ad-hoc games you will only see a max of 2 units of WB Jaegers for instance (also applies to ferguson rifles and other units). I think this might be a big bonus for future MP modders as it will allow us to retain fun and elite units but we can also ensure they are not over represented in the game.

Regards, M.

Well I just played it, its great, proper battle, I can now use the landscape properly with out so many riflemen mowing down my men from a distance. There is now 35 battles all up, but the new ones by CA are the same being repeated for 1v1 2v2 3v3 and 4v4. I just won 2 battle becuase of people not over using cannons and rifles. I don't think I'll use the Lordz map pack, I'm sticking to vanilla from now on! The new native nations are great with their own special panel. Now I believe ETW is what is was suppose to be at release! Now it become a pretty good game! But still unrelistic! I just relised RTW had only 158 units, while Napoleon TW will have 322! That make the game sound good! Ok, back to 1.5, maybe I'll show some screenshots!

You say there is something different with the Native American nations? I've not noticed that. Did you buy the warpath campaign thingy?

No, i have never bought something over steam, but if you play as the natives in single player battles, they have a seperate panel to the European nations. The units themselves have no difference except you can play them in battles.

This is such a good idea for MP, that I'm still struggling to come to terms with the fact that CA would actually implement something like this :o :o its so unlike them. :D

Its meant to be a fix for tose with SF that couldn't access the 3 'extra' units. There is also a hidden artillery ammunition fix, some guns were firing the wrong ammo. However, whatever it _really_ was in addition to this is unknown as it was a substantial size.

Hopefully its not broken anything new :)

I bought mine with Special Forces, wasn't worth the extra 10 bucks (it cost me $109.95AUD and the normal ETW costs $99.95AUD)

Yeah but apparently you wouldn't have got the three 'extra' units that were region based - these being Deaths Head Hussars, Amazons and USS Constitution... at least this is what I'm led to believe. All SF owners should now have all 9 extra units.

Regards, M.

Yer, I like the death head hussars! Their mean looking warriors, good to see a bigger variety in units now starting to look different! Uniforms slightly changes with a couple extra patterns on line inf!
