Its likely that older .loc file which is causing the problem. I've heard its something to do with a default font change or something ... I don't know. I think you need to remove _everything_, get the game validated, make sure the menu's work them put your mods back in one at a time to see if there are problems.

Yep that makes sense, although one thing,
Do you not yet have the new Lordz map pack installed ?? I'm thinking probably not as Trom etc may not be compatible ??

I've got them downloaded, I just need tol add the loc entries for the lordz maps to the TROM loc and I'll be off and away. It won't affect the menus (ie, the problem we're talking about) as I'm told you just need to remove the old modified locs, get the game working then add 1.4 compatible locs back (argh!).

My advice, get back to vanilla, which is what we need to do at each patch anyway, make sure everything works, then add mods until something breaks (if it does), that mod author can then be contacted to possibly fix the breakage

I have conferred with Badger at the Lordz, who advised that the latest Loc file came after the patch dated the 25th, but this does not seem to be the case as all loc file links give the same file dated the 21st.
And it is this loc file that is causing the problem, well done again Moopere
I will see what Badger has to say later or maybe 2mrw.

Lucky me, I pulled out all mods befoore patch 1.4, and everything works fine, even better than before. But I'm waiting untill Tac War version 1.4 to come out before I put any mods back in, the vanilla is bearable atm, so I'm modless!
