See here for a thread calling for comments:

The only thing really missing is decent MP pricing, but there is scope for other change which won't affect campaigns. See the thread for details and please comment if you are interested in something you'd like to see in TROM MP/Custom battles.

From Megaupload - 42 downloads
From Slingfile - 39 downloads

TOTAL NBC Re-spin TROM Installer 1.64 downloads = 81 (!!!!)

Thats a lot! Really. Many more than I would have expected.

I wonder how many folks are choosing to d/l it and play SP simply using the NBC installer for its chosen 'extras' packages like the lordz maps and ornamentum and simple method of install and uninstall?

Regards, M.

There are one or two new MP players in the steam lobby most evenings now, so my guess is people have downloaded it and tried it SP for a few days or so and then work their way to steam to try MP.....either way it's looking like a huge success and I don't see any other MP game taking it's place now untill NapTW appears - as long as Johan does not make any major error in future updates of course.

That of course is leaving LG to one side, it's not at all clear if MP will really take off with LG, so having TROM as an excellent "reserve" is great news and I doubt very much that we would have this many people getting involved if Moopere had not made the NBC "package".

I would prefer to see this called the nwg package the next time it's changed......NBC people helped but it's fair to say nwg and "host" the pack here as a general Community thing rather than give the impression it's a NBC thing.

Re: the NBC or NWG thing, I agree with you. It started as an NBC thing but I think it probably more properly needs hosting by NWG. I should have thought about that at the time - nevermind.

Next release I'll do as suggested.

Moo.

81!
I think more people ll choose to play TROM MP after they see the difficulty of arranging LG MP battles.
