They live here:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\replays

Substitute "Administrator" for your login username.

Cheers, M.

Perhaps a search on the "empire_replay" end bit will turn up something?

Cheers, M.

Well that's a lot different from what I have......I have searched for every possible combination of Empire replay, nothing found.....I'm starting to get worried !.

I have also searched for a folder called application data - nothing found.

please try to search for " AppData " instead of applicationdata.

A huge cheer goes up in Gunners house....I take back that remark at the Empire forum.....quote from there that sorted my problem out :

Quote:
Everyone that wants save files needs to enable hidden files

My files were hidden, I have made them visable and hey presto, there they are.....brillent.

I assume they can be uploaded and shared, moved into the replay folder and viewed though the MP lobby, not perfect but workable.

Ahhh.... yes of course. I didn't even think to mention this. This is one of the first things I turn off when I install XP because it drives me nuts that I have files on my disk that I can't see.

I am afraid thats what i can do DJ cause i had this problem with ntw2 too with vista and "appdata" helped me, dont know where yours can be placed in.
My "rome folders" are here, it was also hard to find these for me too.
"C:\Users\Dente\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War"
Vista is strange according to me but folders are somewhere in "users".
No, i didnt enable hidden folders for that as far as i can remember.

Dougie, sounds like you might need to do what I had to do, if so :

Control panel, folder options, view tab.....tick show hidden files.

Cheers Gunner and ANK :D
Dougie finds his replays :D
A big cheer went up here too
There was no obvious Open hidden files in my CP, but got there with a search, this opened up a APP-DATA folder in users and there were my replays in ROAMING.
What a fuss just to access something that should be so easy to find, the mind boggles. :? :?
Cheers gents.

Yes mate Vista :?
I'm already looking forward to the new operating system
I guess there must be a reason the replays are not in your ETW main folder. :?: :?: in XP aswell.
That would be far to simple i guess. :?
