Corps Battles v3.2.1 - The Regimental Mod of NTW2 is released and available for all to enjoy. Find it here:

http://corps-battles.wikispaces.com

Changes (in brief):

- Costings smoothed out to give a better graduation between the lower performing units and high performance ones.
- Artillery changed such that 8, 9 & 12 lb cannon now fire shell instead of canister as their secondary ammunition type
- Howitzers have been modified to represent big 8 inch types and have a longer range. Additionally the dedicated howitzer batteries now fire canister as their secondary ammunition type over distances similar to a 4lb cannon
- Russian licornes and British rockets now have the longest range of all artillery in the game. The licorne is modified to become a variation of the standard howitzer type unit. It no longer fires roundshot but instead fires shell and canister. Rockets are now 6 carriages large.
- Shell ammunition is improved in accuracy (still bad though) and no longer fires the 'flaming' shot it did previously. Rocket accuracy also improved.
-The "effective" range of infantry armed with rifles has been reduced in an effort to make them a more realistic unit. Rifles fire and reload about twice as fast as they should, reducing their effective range will help blunt their Sharpe edges (haha, pun intended). Note that rifles maximum range is unaffected and is still the longest of all the infantry in-game
- The General Unit is now made up of aid-de-camp cavalrymen that are modeled after Hussars. Previously the General unit was very weak - be careful now. The General Unit was the last unit to retain the 'hardy' statistic which gave the unit more stamina then usual - this has now been removed.
- An additional small (2 squadron) cavalry unit is available which is made of a countries cheapest non militia cavalry
- The previously available battalion sized infantry units are gone
- The previously artificially shrunk, battalion sized units for some countries are enlarged to match the other factions (Dutch Flankers, French Grenadiers and Voltigeurs for instance)
- Russian and Ottoman Militia is improved slightly to help raise their cost to 50f (up from 25f)

Instructions for install and the install files are all available on the site.

Best regards,
Moopere

** NOTE: Beta testers of CB3.2.1 will not have to reinstall, nothing has required changing since the beta was released.

Well done Moopere, goof job your not sending out a bill for all the work, it must have been many many hours of labour.

Just to confirm, and be 100% clear, this will still be known as CB32, as far as the "folder" name for this is concerned - yes ?.

Yes, its being released as a "patch" to existing v3.2 installs. It can of course also be successfully installed from fresh too (ie, no existing CB32 install).

I suggest that all wiki and CB Leauge players try a quick MP TEST of their new CB version before they arrange to play a "real" game - to make sure the install is all correct and working, it need not be a full game, only a quick lobby visit to ensure all is in order.

One thing. Does one need to update the MAP pack or is it the same as before?
