To celebrate the 202. anniversary of the double battle of Jena and Auerstedt, Lord Chretzel released his documentation explaining this battles.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Jena-Auerstedt

It runs 40 minutes. Alot historical researchs are done for the movie. Supported by 2 professors. To make it historically correct alot new units and terrains were created. (all prussians are new, 1806 were the old prussian army, NTW2 uses the new reformed prussian units)

What is the game engine used here? Its a very interesting piece of work this. Looks like a mod to M2TW? Possibly different skins for the European Wars mod of M2TW?

Thanks for the post.

Regards, Moopere

?!

This was made about 2 years ago, its all ntw2, except for the prussian units. Those were made for the film (I think that napoleon is L drewry's).

Hmm, somethings funny though, because in a couple of closeups of the troops I see different faces within the same unit...ala M2TW...how is this achieved in NTW2?

Its a really impressive piece of work. I did definitely see some NTW2 skins in there, but overall 'something' feels different.

Cheers, M.

A lot of it was filmed with use of 3dsmax. RTW limits don't apply there.
