There will be a new map pack due soon, there seems to be a bit of confusion in the lobby sometimes, with some having maps that other's don't have.

When the new map pack is out it will no doubt stop that so everyone has the same maps.

Once the new maps hit the Lordz if there are any worthwhile maps that seem to be missing from the pack let me know which they are and I'll try to compile them into a single zip and put them up on the nwg ntw2 downloads section.

I know that the maps being included are those that have been put together and kindly supplied by players within the NTW2 community. I was just wondering whether they are being released with or without further modification. An example of this would be the "Merry Christmas" map that Gunner and I spoke of a week or two ago and was included in the v1.0. Anyone heard anything on that?

Not for sure, they normally don't make any changes to the maps made except do the pictures - which I've yet to discover how to do !.

The Lordz site is down this morning, just wondering if that means we'll have them maps very soon. Having said that, with me not being very technically minded it could be down for something totally unrelated.

Please check the Lordz site regually as I think I'm right in saying the NEW map pack is due out very soon, perhaps this week.

It should put an end to the map snags some people have had recently.

When it's issued please get it downloaded and installed asap so then everyone will have the same versions of the same maps running.

Good news for all, many thanks to the Lordz.

Are you kidding? Meg has left and there is only BDC (who has told me in private that he is done) and Hoko (who is in the Israeli army)

Gunner, its probably best to just give up now on this map pack and make one yourself for the community.

You know what J, I think your right......Moopere has got all the maps in a pack over at the nwg wiki site.

The trouble is not many people will download anything to do with ntw2 if it's NOT from the Lordz. But, if there done with it, that might change soon.

What about Badger, Nickster, Wellington, etc, etc. These guys are all still listed as Lordz....if they are not active isn't it time to gather a new bunch to the flag?

Regards, M.

I agree, and I have numerous times almost made a new topic in the admin section asking if this should be done. (I mean, Horton and I are TRYING SO HARD to get these Americans done, and get a patch out soon) If the 4 of us came together with some community support, we could get some real kick butt stuff done here. (E.G. More nations, maps, fixes, admin, etc)

If the Lordz are finished would they care if we took the reigns of NTW2 and try to improve it?(at least till one of the big games gets here.)

And as for those other folks that Moops listed, as far as I know, they are MIA. Haven't heard or seen from them in many moons. (Well Badger is still here, but his off helping Dury build some country club type thing. :P )

What do you guys think?
