Please use this topic for all chat with regards to AnkLards CB League updates.

AnkLrd, that is excellent, would you be able to do an update post like this about once a week ?.

It will help keep the nwg site upto date with events in the League.

Good work.

AnkLrd, your site and work for the CB League, and the updates are excellent, many thanks.

I have split it so ONLY you should edit or post to the "CB League Standings" topic, all general chit chat to go here, or in a new topic.

Yes, Austria led by owen did a grand job on the Brits, a big lesson learnt here after the Austria Cavalry swung the battle from defeat to victory.

Russia needs ssupport, It would be great to see Frog take the Russians but I suspect he may like France.

The player who could use Russia best would be Ce.....he has Russia most lobby games.

I see that AnkLrd has taken Russia, well done Sir! Jolly good show.

As you all know I am very partial to Russia but you have to get a bit of variation now and again so I am playing Prussia this time around for the CB league.

Best of luck to you AnkLrd - Russia can be a challenging faction if you are very used to playing other more shooting oriented factions but is strong once you understand how the army works.

Best regards, Moopere

It was good to see my nick with yours at prussian page but this team change decision ll be interesting for me i guess. So yes, i choose Russia.
I know you like "russia" as i check your avatars on both pages, who knows maybe sometime in the near future Ermolov and Kostenetsky ll fight at the same front-line when we have more members for league teams.

But there s one thing thats obvious, i ll need your vision about Russia soon so dont be surprised if you get emails from your ally/enemy ! ;)

The Brits take the lead, but it's VERY close, and I suspect it might stay very close with the format we have, it only needs a couple of wins/loses and things can turn around, but it will be hard for any team to pull a long way ahead.

i know the topic is "CB league"chat and discussion but these days i think about a possible development? We, 7 of us play the CB games with the league...I think we decided to play CB lobby and CB wiki campaign games in this league so people would download CB which is really more fun when we compare it with ntw2.

But how about we let this free for everyone in NBC and napoleonic clan/organisation member. I mean a league that players can play ntw2 and CB lobby games, CB wiki campaigns, EtW?, LG?...

People who register at NBC forum become a member and then select a team(obligation for comers). Gunner make the PR system for each member, new comers generally begin with +4000 so on. So if we assume a new comer playing with a level player; 8k against 12k for a ntw2 game and 10k against 14k for a CB game.

I know we have a rating system for ntw2 games. Just with a difference as we do for CB games now. When NBC players make battles among themselves this would become a league battle which counts but if played with non-league players/clans course just an off-league one. By this way, i mean including every kind of game to the league we would have a huge hall of fame(individual players table),victories chart and team table which may be really fun and challenge.

What do you all think?

It's a good idea in theory, I have it open at the moment for ANY clan or nap organisation member to be able to play and no one other than NBC has shown any interest.

Making normal ntw2 lobby games be included is going to near impossible to organise - we have been here a long time ago and generally people are not interested in this kind of thing.

I will think about it but my first reaction is to keep it small, with people who are interested and care about playing decent games, rather than get people like ???? involved who will only moan and complain about everything till they bring the idea crashing down and spoil what is a damn good concept.

i see,,,i hope one day i ll manage to understand why and how difficult can that be to download CB and try once but people may want to play their traditional games in a traditional way; Enter the lobby play one game, have fun for the night and go. I know i have to respect people's wishes and preferences. This is a new CB league, maybe 6 months later we ll see 10 players for each team. i understand what you two mean.

I think there is a chance it may grow in numbers, but it will be VERY slow, one at a time, as people understand how good it is.

Myself and Moopere have been trying to do stuff like this for about 2 years !!!!!, it's slow hard work, but worth it when things start to happen that make ntw2 more than a one off lobby bish bash.

We have random maps for wiki campaigns and thats really a great idea. I wonder if this is possible for ---Arranging "one off" CB League Battles--- too? I mean can a section be added to napbc forum-CB League Meeting Room section that works automatically or with umpires help ;)?
